Hydrafacial MD A Revolutionary Facial Treatment

Published by Dr. Brandon Richland, MD

Hydrafacial MD is a one-of-a-kind skin rejuvenation treatment that has changed the game in skincare technology. This revolutionary technology only requires a single device to Cleanse, Extract, and Hydrate the skin while targeting multiple concerns like acne, redness, pore size, and more!

HydraFacial has been around for over 25 years and has pioneered the skin care industry in aesthetic devices. Starting in 2001, they created the first patented microdermabrasion machine, Delphia Micro-Dermabrasion. This non-invasive approach to beauty treatments led the way to the first medical-grade hydradermabrasion device in 2005, the Tower. With over 60 patents in their technology, HydraFacial has improved every device and, in 2022, launched Syndeo. We are honored to be able to carry and provide the latest technology.

HydraFacial is a personalized 3-step treatment: Cleanse, Extract, and Hydrate. Patented Hydropeel tips use Vortex Fusion Technology to gently but effectively exfoliate the skin while driving ingredients deep into the skin for immediate results.

Step 1 Cleanse, starts with a concentrated solution with ingredients such as Lactic acid, Licorice Root Extract, and phytic acid to prep and decongest the skin for the Glycolic/Salicylic peel that follows. Depending on your skin goals will depend on the GlySal peel being used. Here at Richland Aesthetics, we carry 3 levels of peels to truly customize the experience.

Step 2 Extract, we change the hydro peel tip to teal, which will vacuum up the impurities while simultaneously fusing the skin with Willow Bark and fruit extracts to calm and soothe. I continue extractions manually to thoroughly remove the remaining congestion.

Step 3 Hydrate, clear tip seals the deal with corrective serums that target and correct your concerns. We carry a variety of corrective serums from ZO Skin Health to HydraFacials most popular! Replenish with Hyaluronic Acid and antioxidants to seal in all nutrients. Finish off the treatment with sunscreen for your skin type and show off that hydrafacial GLOW!

At our beautifully renovated Newport Beach and Orange County offices, we offer 3 tiers of HydraFacial treatment: Platinum, Deluxe and Express.

HydraFacial Platinum includes lymphatic drainage, 2-3 correctives with a LED jelly mask under LED red or blue therapy, as well as the standard cleanse, extract, and hydrate steps.

HydraFacial Deluxe includes 1 corrective and LED red or blue therapy along with Cleanse, Extract, Hydrate.

The Signature or Express HydraFacial is as it sounds, no additional correctives or LED therapy, just CLEANSE, EXTRACT, and HYDRATE steps are performed.

Is Hydrafacial MD good for my skin?

It’s all about HYDRATION. Hydration is the foundation of healthy skin. When you have healthy skin, you are less prone to signs of aging.

Am I a good candidate for a HydraFacial?

EVERYONE is able to receive this treatment. It is designed for all skin types! If you are pregnant or lactating, please discuss this with your practitioner, as modifications will need to be made.

Does HydraFacial MD have downtime?

There is no downtime for a HydraFacial treatment. You can even apply your makeup if needed right after. Unlike traditional facials, you can resume your regular lifestyle right after treatment.

How long do HydraFacial results last?

You will have glowing skin after a HydraFacial for days, up to a week! Just after one treatment, you will see a difference in radiance and texture. To maintain these results, it is best to schedule your HydraFacial once a month and continue a structured skin care regimen.

Can I customize my HydraFacial?

Customize your experience with a Perk enhancement for eyes and lips. Keravive is the latest in scalp health. As your aesthetician, I am happy to treat all areas of skin!
